For the Vega Insiders company, Bretec developed a machine which can create and divide a crumble-shaped vegetarian product to a constant layer thickness.

The thickness of the layer can be set to the desired value. This is essential for the cooking process.

The machine was designed and built with eye on ergonomic comfort and extra hygiene. Before, workers had to feed the conveyor by hand. With the layer thickness distributor, workers can easily deposit a full amount of crumble on to the conveyor belt. Tilting guide plates on the side will ensure there is no product spillage.

After production, the conveyor and its support plates can easily be disassembled, offering enough space for cleaning.
