For a potato processing company in Northern-Ireland Bretec created and built a fully automatic mashed potato dosing line.

This machine automatically places plastic trays onto a conveyor belt using a Bretec designed, tray denesting system. These trays are then filled with mashed potato by a row of portioners fed by a Bretec SV-04 product stream divider.

After filling, the trays are transported by a vibrating conveyor belt which makes the soft and hot mash even out in the tray.

With four rows of fillers set up next to each other it is possible to produce up to 80 trays of 400g per minute filled with hot mashed potato.
